Presumably it's 1.8 ohm in the resistance part of the wire, and you'd use almost all of that to make the coil. Of course that means with dual coils that you'd definitely end up sub-ohm and have to use it on a mech mod (or maybe a DNA20 mod)

the resistance wire is a set length for greyhaze ready made ones. so a set length=a set ohms.
you can wrap 3 or 4 or 18 loops if you want, it'll be 1.8ohms, because only 1.8ohms of resistance wire is there
i pushed this out on twitter this morning via verns vapes. just sayin':-)

Yay! Mine arrived today - currently soaking, wondering whether I should just throw away the existing coils. Threads seem really good. Delivery only took 10 days.

Later...

First assembly attempt not 100% successful, a bit of leaking, possibly because I overtightened the mouthpiece which then started to unscrew the ceramic holder - think I need to check some videos again.

I unfortunately placed my order with fasttech the day before this ithaka was made available, so (unfortunately) my odysseus homage got delivered yesterday. I say unfortunately, because I wouldve got ithaka had it been available at the time. but it is more than twice the price of odysseus on fasttech.
Not really a review, but damn I'm liking this thing. Like, seriously nice. The locking ring thread and the ceraminc holder thread requires some care when assembling, it is fine threads which are easy to cross over if you arent paying attention, but everything lines up, mouthpiece is absolutely centered through the top cap and the vape is really awesome. Just waiting today for mr postman to drop off some gear from wires.co.uk so I can wind some of my own.

In case you are interested in odysseus, it came with a small spares kit in a nice box, orings, spare silica wick, spare resistance wire (but no nr) and a spare coil prewound. I'm just sitting looking at this thing and shaking my head...awesome for the price.

just thinking out loud, i might skip ithaka and go straight for magoo or 91% if i get bored of this
