Power, current and resistance is what you are looking at. The power(watts/volts) and resistance give you the current which is amp draw on the batteries. Using a decent ohms law calculator put in the resistance of the coil and the watts you are using and it should tell you the volts and amp draw. A .5 coil at 14 watts should be around 2.6 volts and be pulling around 5.3 amps. It's all stuff you need to learn before making your own coils and sub ohm vaping really.

That's if I've done my stuff correctly. Only had a quick look as I'm at work.

Thanks that is what my battery is saying 2.6 volts....so why are they saying on ecigarrette forum the subox is inaccurate?

Maybe the ohms part is. Some chips are just a bit more accurate than others but most read somewhere near.

A 0.5 ohm coil will hit 4 volts at 32 watts.

I just tested my subox running a 0.4 ohm coil against my voltage calculator and it's pretty much spot on from what i can tell.

Regardless of what is displayed on a mod just start on low watts and increase till you find your best vape.

All mods imo perform slightly differently so what works for you on one device won't be quite right on another.

Maybe a better question would of been. "I've just read this info, is it correct? "

Other than a battery going into meltdown in pretty sure there's nothing vaping can throw at us that's even vaguely as dangerous as tobacco and I bet you didn't worry about that.

Thanks all for your answers..... No doubt there be more questions in the near future.
