Ok so im gunna buy the Kayfun Lite after all the advise.

As the MVP is underpowered somewhat i need to build single coils at 1.3 - 1.6 ohms and need wire that heats quick. So what wire do i get?

Thanks

hi, i use .32mm kanthal and seven wraps around a 2.5mm screwdriver, gives me about 1.2 -1.3 ohms.

With the power an MVP can deliver, I would suggest using 0.25mm wire, otherwise it might take a week to warm up lol.

To calculate your coils, go here
Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

Wick options, you can use Voodoowool from Stealthvape
Voodoowool

2mm is a reasonable size for a Kayfun. Just slip a straightened paper clip up the inside of the Voodoowool then wrap your coil around it. Once you have attached the coil to the terminals on the build deck, just slip the paper clip back out. As the Voodoo (or ekowool) is hollow, you need to do this to stop it collapsing. Ditch the silica that comes with the Kayfun, its shit.

Cut the Voodoo off to a length so it just gently touches the deck above the juice channels, and screw down the chimney. Juice it up, and away you go, you have built your first Kayfun coil.

The other options you can explore are the Navy Nest, modified Navy Nest.. then its onto cotton and microcoils. Start at 2mm coils, and get some organic cotton wool. If you struggle to find it in places like Wilkinsons, you can get some from here: http://www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/ (including cheap kanthal if you want lol)

If you are really worried about getting the correct resistance, pick up some of these:
Pre Made Resistance - No Resistance Wires x 50

They are pre-made wires to the correct resistance, you just wrap the darker "resistance" part of the wire around your wick.

The important thing is to make sure you lift your coil up about one millimeter or so from the build deck to stop shorts and allow correct airflow.

What kayfun you gonna buy in the end ?

i bought the Kayfun Lite plus v2 from M-Vapes. Hope its good coz im skint now!:30: Read some good review about M-Vapes so i thought I would give him a go. Scary stuff for me on my Vaping adventure espicially as I have only used tanks in the past

it depends what sort of build you are planning on doing,i use .28 kanthal in my kayfun lite 7 wraps on a 2mm drill bit(micro coil) comes out at 1.6/1.7ohm which is about as low as the mvp can handle due to the amp limit (2.5A i think) & still get the full range off adjustment, also it will heat quicker than say .32 due to it being thinner wire.if you want to do open wrap coil & silica .20 is probably a good bet.

I have heard 1.2ohm is the key figure. I know it can fire down to 0.8 (I have had mine at 0.9) but as you say it won't use the full watts range at that level, but I was sure the threshold was 1.2 not 1.6
