With the power an MVP can deliver, I would suggest using 0.25mm wire, otherwise it might take a week to warm up lol.

Wick options, you can use Voodoowool from Stealthvape
Voodoowool
2mm is a reasonable size for a Kayfun. Just slip a straightened paper clip up the inside of the Voodoowool then wrap your coil around it. Once you have attached the coil to the terminals on the build deck, just slip the paper clip back out. As the Voodoo (or ekowool) is hollow, you need to do this to stop it collapsing. Ditch the silica that comes with the Kayfun, its shit.
Cut the Voodoo off to a length so it just gently touches the deck above the juice channels, and screw down the chimney. Juice it up, and away you go, you have built your first Kayfun coil.
The other options you can explore are the Navy Nest, modified Navy Nest.. then its onto cotton and microcoils. Start at 2mm coils, and get some organic cotton wool. If you struggle to find it in places like Wilkinsons, you can get some from here:

If you are really worried about getting the correct resistance, pick up some of these:
Pre Made Resistance - No Resistance Wires x 50
They are pre-made wires to the correct resistance, you just wrap the darker "resistance" part of the wire around your wick.
The important thing is to make sure you lift your coil up about one millimeter or so from the build deck to stop shorts and allow correct airflow.
