When he had the 3 wires together Rip bent one of them, at each end, I didn't catch that properly ... what was he doing that for? Or was that irrelevant?1.2 ohms. The idea behind the twisting of the wire is that there is a greater surface area of wire available to vapourise the juice for a similar (ish) resistance to something around 3 wire gauges thicker (roughly).
You can do it by hand with a pin vice, but any battery drill will do very nicely.
