zubair I only use high VG juice, although sometimes 50/50 if it's only available. I can't stand PG juices, they were made in hell by the devil himself as far as I'm concerned. Disgusting irritating crap, lord knows how people vape the stuff. Must be all the numbing agents in the fags people still have in their systems makes it somehow bearable to vape. Anyway sorry I'm a bit sensitive when it comes to PG, in more ways than one, lol. Back to topic...
Funny my first coil was relatively quite quick to make, but the second and third took ages because the wire wouldn't seem to stay under the post screws, no matter what. I eventually was able to screw down the screw and the wire didn't move. One min later it came out again. Nearly drove me mad, lol. Got there in the end but I just finding that part so difficult at the mo. Any tips anyone? Maybe that has something to do with the lowish quality of my vape.
From what you've said I'm more convinced about using cotton for the amount of flavour. Yeah as for the nic, I've got loads of 18mg juices that i can't use. I also have boots VG, but as you say you lose the flavour unless you got flavour concentrate for your juices. My local B&M has started doing capella concentrates, so I bought one and am able to cut the nic down whilst getting the flavour I want also. Anyway at least the nic keeps you off the analogues. I was vaping 18mg and smoking rollies at the same time for a few weeks. I knew I was having too much nic, but I was trying to sort my vaping out, not feeling satisfied, so smoking as well. On 12MG with the kayfun only now, no desire for rollies at all (love vaping for that!), and I feel way more relaxed. 12mg feels like a relief to me, lol.
It does seem frustrating mate. I've had to empty the kayfun out about 5 times to adjust the wick or build a new wick. The way I see it though, once you're set up, the kayfun holds loads of juice and your coil should last a good while, so there'll be less to do in time. Besides that, it is interesting to learn a new skill, coiling. Yeah they'll bring out the latest and greatest new bit of vape gear, but to be honest I plan to stay on the kayfun for a good while now, as long as I get decent flavour and vapour, the rest is just take or leave it. I've never been a slave to fashion.
Keep at it mate. We gotta keep each other going. One day we'll be the big chimps helping out the newbies, hehe.
Cheers,
lemon.
