I think I'm going to have to resort to something like that. I was just hoping it could be fixed without adding tapeWhat about a tiny amount of plumbers tape around the fill screw? That would create more of an air tight seal
I think its reasonably common, mine did it but a tiny bit of PTFE tape sorted it. I have no problems now.

Looks like its not a major problem tho if its just a small leak but will pop down to the local hardware shop to grab some plumbers tape
