LG MJ1 Battery test 3500 mAh

That's some serious really world data there! Worth knowing when my Samsung 25R gives up the ghost down the line :2thumbsup:

If you want to try other LG then try the HD2. It's a 2000mAh 25A battery comparable to the VTC4 I have 3 for my rx200s I get about 390 60W 2.2ish second puffs out of a fully charged set.
Newer version HD2C is even better. Might break the 400 puff barrier [emoji6]
Actually, the HE4s would last even longer ...

I've a pair of Torchy wrapped Samsung 30Qs but thinking of buying another couple of batteries

WHY aren't these good for Sub ohm-ing? I don't personally, but am interested to know

I've a Pico 75W on the way today so the new batteries would primarily be for that

The MJ1 are only rated at 10 amp .... low resistance in the coil requires more power (watts) to get the coils hot to vape on, more power means more amp draw on the battery, go over 10 with this battery and it could become unsafe and or damage the battery.

Just to add to what Simon wrote, a regulated mod should prevent any vaping taking place if your set up is too demanding of your battery BUT much better not to depend on that and choose correct rating of battery to match your set up.
Simon - perhaps amend thread title to include a warning if it's not there already (hard to check atm as on app)?

I think what I'll do is now It's finished I'll edit the whole of the first post later, so it's less rambling and with more information. .... I'm off out now. :)

Cheers chaps

I think until I get my coil building skills up to scratch (I'm completely random as to what ohm they come out at) I'll stick to the 30a Samsung 30Qs for now, especially as I do have a couple of sub tanks (that I don't use. Much)

Sound! This thread arose from earlier discussions on here about very specific battery and low watt high ohm use so unless you vape at 10W on a 1.8ohm coil is its NOT to be used.
Most batteries recommended online for vaping are for general usage but there are specialist batteries one can use for the extremes of vaping (highs and lows) such as this MJ1 or a HB6.
Not sure if we actually have a battery sub forum, we should have and then battery discussions could be categorised.

Donations towards simong's iron lung to be collected shortly.
