So I started a thread a little while back about mixing equipment and wanted to know what people use. I watched a youtube video not long after and made the best purchase ever...

GRADUATING CYLINDERS! Why didn't I think of this!? We all use to use them at school and they could not be easier. Get the desired size and then just drop from the bottles straight into the cylinder. No syringes, No precision scales and only one thing to wash. Fantastic. I just bought some 10ml cylinders from here... Plastic Measuring Cylinder 10ml | Rapid Online

39p each (exc VAT). Bargain.

Bye Bye syringes...

To be fair I lied, my best purchase ever was a new fluffy rug in my living room. so fluffyyyyyy.

... the cylinders come close though.

Two possible minor drawbacks with them, but whatever works for you:-
1. are they accurate enough, particularly if you're adding from bottles directly?
2. you'll lose some finished juice stuck to the sides

Yeah I understand your concerns...

They have an error of + or - 0.2 ml which is fine by me and its pretty easy to get the measurements right on a flat surface. If you hold it above the bottle for 30 secs you get 99.9% of the juice out also.

To be honest I think I'll end up using a mixture of techniques to make my e liquids and see what works. Unfortunately, whatever the mixing equipment I use it's not going to make me e liquids any better! :p

Drawback I see is if you over fill one ingredient. Since already mixed you cannot get back out so would need to bin or live with it.

Yeah I solved that problem by just not doing it haha. Know what you mean though, but when you get close to the measurements you just do one drop at a time and check.

Made 10ml in it last night, held over bottle for 30 secs, filled another bottle with 10ml of water and they were perfectly level. So no juice lost on a 50/50 PG vg mix :)
