My Tin Mod with USB Charger

@Seedy , Just wondering on switch selection here for mine, Did you use a high amp rated job ? I've seen some but i'm still browsing in case i see something else. Most of what i see has about a 19mm cut out size.

Yeah. I used something like a 16a switch.

[EDIT]
I just checked and the switch is 25A.

[/EDIT]

That coupled with my over the top 16AWG wires is why I think I'm seeing almost no voltage drop.
I have just done another modification to it as the USB charger was shorting and firing the device so a bit of glue and some insulation tape and jobs a goodun. It makes a wicked passthrough too :)

Thanks, that's one that i was looking at. Shame about having to go in for a secondary op' just when you think you're all done eh. Very nice though & i like the solid tin type approach too, nice satisfying lump of metal. Mine should be a similar type but with a theme ! Not gonna let on about it until the job's done though.

I look forward to seeing it.

At what point are you measuring the voltage drop? With a tankometer or across the battery?
