I use pretty much the technique above, without the heating. 3 months of tobacco in a jam jar with enough PG to cover it. Sometimes I put it in the freezer for a weekend to break down the cells. Then drain into another jam jar with a coffee filter in a funnel.

I've done Amber Leaf, Drum, Cafe Cremes and Old Kendell - all came out well.

fuckin 'a ....... it worked, it tastes really good! ... no nasty stewed taste or bitterness, it tastes nice and sweet actually.

I'm getting all the taste of the tea and all the fruity notes and everything... fuck, this is great. I think a percentage or two more would be perfect, it's weird though, it's like drinking a cup of tea.

Touch of Bavarian Cream, tiny touch of Super Sweet - you've got a proper cup of tea. Now you need to sort out marmalade on buttered toast

it's actually cleared a lot if you ignore the pond scum on the top.... and yes, I do need to cut the grass.

You should buy the whole leaf tobacco for doing this. I’ve not made an net as I’m not all that keen on them, but I used to buy the whole leaf tobacco before I started vaping. You don’t pay fag tax on it as it’s not processed, so it’s cheap as chips, about £30 a kilo. If you grind it and smoke it, you need to tell hmrc and pay the fag tax you owe (so obviously that’s not what I was buying to for ), but I think it would be great for this, it’s just raw, unprocessed dried leaves. I had Turkish, various Virginias, burley, really dark smokey fire cured stuff, loads of varieties, used them to make blends. You can even get organically grown varieties.

Right, I’ll definitely be doing this once my pg order arrives and I get back from holidays. I have a few interesting teas here that would be perfect. Great work @Simon G !

I had planned to use something like muslin or a piece of cotton with a fine weave. But aye coffee filters might be better.

For my NETs, I use coffee filters, time and gravity. Gets me clean concentrate, but I have to change my cotton pretty frequently

Any NET will invariably be a cotton and coil killersadly .. its just something you have to put up with using a good NET

UPDATE: forgot to pick up the coffee filters.

simon .. look into a large syringe with some Muji jammed in the bottom

take the plunger out half fill it with your NET (only half or it may go everywhere!) and put the plunger back in and slowly press it through the Muji - its hard work .. but does help get rid of the bricks and stones.
