Need advice on my next vape

Hi all,

I've been reading this forum for a while and have decided to sign up to get your opinion on what device would be most fitting for my use.

I had a Aegis pro mini with a Nunchaku 2 tank which I loved, but had to give up as it created far too much vape. Wasn't the most social setup! I then swapped to the Caliburn which suited me perfectly, but the battery is so bad I would end up buying disposable elf bars.

Now, I'm just buying Elf Bars as I know one will at least last a whole day... But it's becoming madly expensive.

I'm looking for a reusable vape that has the best battery life and creates the same amount of vape an elf bar does.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi @PET1138 and welcome to the planet.
im guessing your after a mouth to lung vape which uses lower wattage so as gives more battery life. the smaller the kit the less power it will hold so have you thought about a slightly bigger mod so as to have more power to last the day.
now MTL mouth to lung is not really my bag and i only have 2 kits which are 7-8 years old while i have over 50 DTL direct to lung cloud chuckers.

I recommend you look at the Innokin Zlide Z60 kit.

It is more expensive than the typical small pod kits you currently use (but way cheaper than disposables over a few weeks) but it is futureproof as you can use any tank with a standard 510 connection on the mod, or use the tank on any other mod you may buy in the future. The mod has a 2,500mah built in battery that should easily last all at typical MTL power settings, you can adjust the power up and down to fine tune for your preference and the vape will be consistent for the entire battery charge unlike small pod kits where the power sent to the coil constantly varies depending on the battery charge. The Zlide tank uses replacable coils so you only have to buy a pack of coils occasionally - and Innokin coils are very easy to find so you won't have problems finding replacements in 6 months time (I can still buy coils easily for my Innokin T18 tank I bought nearly 6 years ago).

Hi there @PET1138 good advice from @MrDJ or if you want a more portable pod kit there’s the Voopoo Argus G or the Oxva Xlim Pro both have a 1000 mah internal battery which with average vaping should last you a day and give good flavour.
The Innokin Adept Zlide although a heavier kit is a good option the Z coils give good flavour and last well.

For battery life have a look at the Lost Vape Thelema Solo. One battery lasts me 2-3 days vaping at 12 watts.

Sceptre 2 or if you can afford it, the orion 2.

The sceptre 2 is very cheap (<20), the flavour is really good, the coils last for ages and it has a decent battery too.

The orion 2 is not much better performance wise, but it looks the dogs (IMHO).

If you are coming from disposables, i would get one of the Argus pods, and use Elf bar eliquid. It is similar to a disposable, but better.

My wife uses it it’s called Effliq she really likes it.

There’s another eliquid from Mix Labs made in the UK which has better flavour than the Elfliq according to one of the boys he bought some for his Mum and she likes it better than the Elfliq juice.
I can’t take nic salts so haven’t tried it.
