Hi givinup and congratulations on the achievement. You've picked a great tank with the Zenith. Food for thought about the 0.8 coil and thanks @simong for that snippet of advice. My first coil has lasted at least 3 weeks with ParaXu which is pretty good going. I'm going to give the other one a whirl.

I think the T18 or the T20s are both great little kits, the T20s just pips it for me. Keep going and just shout if you need any further help, we've all been there. It's just over a year for me after smoking for about 25 years. Couldn't of done it without the help of this forum.

A lot seem to say that. I came close a couple of times, even rolled one once and sat with it for 5 mins, never lit it though!
I often packed in over the years for a week but always remembered the first fag back as lovely so dare not ever do that now!

Like Ajt said try Manabush, seriously its the best ive tried.
Best thing I did was up my Nic a bit, and found Manabush (thanks to suggestions on here)
Like you I don't like sweet flavours, and the original Tobacco flavour I used was a bit bland, I first tried Manabush Nokomis which I found a bit too sweet at first, then tried Paraxu, Tamahaac and Kona Paka.
I found Tamahaac the best substitute for a rollie, but my new favourite is Kpna Paka

I'm a tad late to your intro, but your query has been answered by others. So I'll just say, that I gave up the stinkies 20 days ago, and haven't looked back since. I started with an Aspire Zelos & Nautilus 2 tank. The Zelos is nice and compact, so I take that out with me. The Naut 2 tank is not a bad tank (it's a MTL tank), I use .7s coils in it. Gives me a warmer cloudier vape, for when I want it. But the lovely poster above me, Coolie..guided me to getting a Zenith 4ml, which I did...and that's a great tank for a MTLer. I use 1.6s like you, produces great flavour and decent amount of vapour. I'd say it's better than the Naut. 2, but the N2 is good little tank too. my coil is only a few days old, and it reads 1.65 ohms at the moment, but it does go up & down slightly, so nothing to fret over on that. I have the .8s for the Zenith too, which i'll try in due course, but the 1.6s are brilliant little coils. I haven't tried the other one. So keep it up mate...you're on the right path, so.....

I think i've got the hang of the ohms read out, since posting i've started another coil and it reads pretty much the same (1.71 even though ts rated at 1.6) so thats either within the margin of error or the kroma's own measure is slightly out. either way is seems uniform.

Where did you get a 4ml tank from? I haven't read up about the new laws but i thought 4ml tanks went the same way as the big bottles of nicotine? (BTW if anyone has a link hint hint )

I've just found out wifey has ordered me a endura T20 so i guess thats my new going out vape!

AHHHH!!! I have Coolie to thank for that 4ml Zenith...and yes you're right about the TPD laws in this country. But the daft things is, that whilst you can't buy here in the UK, you can import them from countries that do!!! I got my 4ml from Le Petite Vapotuer in France. For about £35, you can order either a red, black or a S/S one like I have, plus a couple of packs of coils (I got 1 pack of the +ohm & -ohm coils) & postage will be free (Buy over 30Euros from LPV and it's free P&P). Great company, they even gave me some cute freebies in my order! And just took 6 days to get to me. Price for the 4ml is 29.90 Euros, so if you've got planty of coils already (same coils can be used in both sizes of tanks), then just add something cheap to tip it over the 30euros mark. They give you 2 euros off your next order, according to their site, so I may well order a 2nd Zenith from them soon!

As for juices, well yeah..can't do much about those restrictions on ejuices, but what I will do eventually, when I've got a few favourite flavours, is buy the shortfill, and just add the required amount of nic to it, as you can get 10ml nic shots from just about anybody! There's plenty of info here and on YT and elsewhere to teach you how to do get the right amount of nic in the shortfills. And of course, you could try your hand at making your own juices...again, you can get the concentrates, PG, VG and nic to make your own....something that i'm also hoping to try one day. Lot of ways to get around the TPD laws....you just gotta do the legwork mate!

Nice missus! I don't know anybody in my circle that vapes..and the rest of the family thinks of me taking to the vape is just a cop out from quitting the fags alas...they just don't get it...they think it's just a fad or a cheat alas. Didn't even get a congratulations, or a pat on the back...not even a pint in me local water hole.

My mother still thinks I smoke FFS! I've told her enough times, that it's vaping, and that they are completely different things...but nup....all she says is..."Well..it looks the same thing son!" *Sighs*

But I have a plan!! My sister smokes....and i'm gonna try my damned best to convince her to convert to vaping, so I will have a powerful ally! She can be a real ballbreaker when her principles are challenged!!!

I'm waiting for some gear to mix up at the moment, got VG, PG a couple of flavours and some pipettes etc hopefully arriving today and gonna knock up some 0% juice just to see how it goes, then try and find some nic if successful. quite looking forward to it. I'm always hands on that way, building PCs, refilling ink cartridges, making sour dough bread. I even make and smoke my own bacon! lol

Yeah same here, although not built me own PC, but refilled ink cartridges enough times. I've got an old unused hand made pipe, that my old man got given back in the 1960's...I'm currently researching how to convert it into a decent epipe, and where to get the relevant bits from. I also wanna build me own vaping cabinet to store everything in.......gets yah brain cells going, this vaping lark, dunnit??!!

that's great @AJT I must admit I am very impressed with the zenith, even though I haven't really got anything to compare it to, but its working really well for me.
I'm still looking at flavours, I find most of the tobacco ones too harsh and the flavoured ones too sweet! I really don't have a sweet tooth so am struggling to find something. I've ordered some apple sour to see how I get on with that.

I go half and half with fruity mix and vanilla custard. Sometimes if I've gone taste blind I add a bit of mint. But the o one that got me off smoking was Cherry Bakewell from Halo.

@sb300 I wouldn't say I enjoyed them, more glad to have the nic fix, I was gasping at the time which is why I succumbed lol. I was pretty amazed how much they stank, or put another way, how quickly my sense of smell has come back. Wifey still smokes and although it doesn't bother me, I do find the smell of roll-ups quite pungent now, and not very appealing.

Yep when I got that first stink of it I put it out and never looked back!
