NHS Covid-19 app

You have to differentiate between you the person and the phone handset you're using.

It's not possible to enter any personal details into the app at all. The only personal information you can enter is the first three characters of your post code. After that the only thing the app is tracking is a phone handset.

The government can easily link a phone to its owner if they have to so thats good. Asking u for all your personal info would make me more suspicious, since they should already have it

I've been thinking about this the whole day

but like all apps and phones and social media, it is

if your not buying a product you are the product

it's good to see and it needs to work

i still have this little voice in the back of my mind.....

I used this app today to scan in where i went and noticed it keeps you logged in until either midnight or till you scan in somewhere else.
No way of signing out so someone might enter the establishment long after you've gone but you may still be contacted to isolate.

You can turn it off when you leave? Not ideal though.
