Nicotine strengh???

Hi all, looking for some newbie help! I currently smoke 0.1mg of nicotine silk cut silver ciggarette,
A week ago I decided to vape,
I bought a 18mg and a tecc arc 4
Vape, I'm unsure wither the 18 is
to strong, I am having cold sweats
Increased anxiety, fuzzy head, can't sleep, I have cut down from
18 cigs a day to 1 or 2? Any help or advice for a newbie, who's desperate to quit a 20 year habit! Many thanks

18mg is very strong. I just ran out of 50mg nic salts and tried 18mg and got very sick. Looking at 6mg now.

You could also try 35mg nic-salt. I never got sick on nic-salt... YMMV

One thing's for sure, during my first week I had 18 stinkies left. I smoked 2 each day for a few days, the last 6 took me a whole extra 2 weeks to finish.

If you can buy the same/similar flavour as the 18mg in a 3mg, then you could try picking up a bottle and mixing - same volumes for about 10mg. Mix well and shake for minute or two before testing.

I recently bought a nasty harsh 16mg eliquid and mixed in a bit of low nic sweet; very smooth. Just play with it.

Persist and vaping will take over. No stress ;)

I smoked roll-ups or Marlboro red when I was smoking, and started at 18mg nic but found it far too strong and got the symptoms you describe. Slowly I got down to 3mg and now chain-vape all day. If I'm going out or going somewhere I can't vape when I want I'll use 6mg to get me through, so don't feel like its a thing that you HAVE to use the same strength all the time, its just a matter of finding whats right for you. Good luck! :):yoda:

Hi Karen, welcome to the planet!

The above 'apes' have given you the correct advice already..but i agree 18mgs is pretty strong. When i first started vaping, i didn't know what doing at first, and was trying to vape 12mgs in a Nautilus 2 tank with .7 coils...gosh my head was spinning..not nice!

For a former 20 a day man, i now vape 12mgs with a 1.8 ohm coil, and 6mgs with anything under 1.0 ohm.

Vaping takes a while to suss it out, but you'll get the hang of it soon enough. Also try reduce the number of cigarettes whilst you're getting used to the vaper....i duelled fuelled for 2 weeks, and towards the final few days, i really didn't like smoking whilst vaping...kept making feel sick! Been free of the dreaded canver stick for nearly a year now..and so much better for it.

This year, i'm aiming to reduce the nicotine by half..and i think that'll perfectly achiveable...i'm not so desperate for a nic fix these days.

So perservere and you work out what you'll be comfortable with..as everybody is different.

Good luck with it Karen! :)2:thumbup:
