Not really getting on with the vaping

Nothing wrong with being a girl, they're my favourite people :worship: As for kissing frogs, was I one of them ? Thanks for the support, but can you tell me the difference between the Ego T and the Ego Y please?

Take the Ego-xyz with a pinch of salt, it harks back to the not to distant past of the Ego-C (cartridge system) and the Ego-T (tank system) to refer to the type of atty or tank that came with the kit. Now it can imply many things from a patterned design or an LED screen to show battery status or even variable voltage on some models.

Best of luck with the switch, in time you'll find the best setup that works for you and there's enough folk here to give friendly advice on what works best for them.

@Hillary, it's okay hun you're not the only girly! Although I'm not your usual girly lol. Anyway BigAl I wish you luck quitting altogether, it'll be well worth it in the end. The money I have saved in just 3 weeks has bought my children extra Xmas pressies this year. As someone said earlier in the post though, the letters at the end of eGo's don't mean much anymore as there's so many varieties. I'm using an eGo-T VV which is a larger eGo where I can change the voltage and has a battery indicator too. I love it, it holds a 3 day charge, produces different temps of vapour and different amounts. Again good luck sweety, keep us updated xx

hey @BigAl

I don't know, too many fwogs to count lmao

The egoT is littler than the egoY and the egoY is clever because you can charge up your batteries which are much cheaper than the whole sealed ego battery separately and of course you can charge em up and have them on call in a blink of an eye.

I was doing everything wrong though, please see this post which shows the egoY

http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/f...ary-and-had-been-looking-for-this-for-so-long

Then @Tubbyengineer was kind enough to point out I was going to explode soon so I bought this which @Tubbyengineer says looked good (he's the battery guru here) and then he suggested I buy a bag which is fireproof so I bought this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131029250809?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

which means now I can go out and buy milk at asdas and not worry too much about the place catching fire.

I was using LIDLS rechargeables which apparently ARE NOT very safe in the egos :-)

so really all a egoY is, is a bit bigger battery holder which allows replacement batteries to be charged up and changed independently of the unit. The 2200mah batteries last all day and that seller on ebay sells 8 spares for £11.50 so I am going to get some more and give them to my friend for an xmas present (just 4 of them lol I want the rest and yes I am o-c-d and a bit about all this stuff) as we both bought the egoY's at the same time.

this is where I got the egoY from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/e-Shisha-...obacciana_Smoking_LE&var=&hash=item4177b0ae9c

There's quite a bit of difference with the egoT and the egoY VV Martin

There are many more chemicals present in tobacco smoke than in e-cig vapour and it's possible that one or more of these chemicals is what you are 'missing' when vaping.

I'm thinking in particular of Tobacco Specific Nitrosamines. These are present in a relatively high concentration in tobacco smoke and although they've also been detected in e-liquids too, the concentrations were much smaller.

I seem to remember a member on UKV experimenting with TSNs in an attempt to get a more 'satiating' vape.

It could be that lower levels of TSNs and/or other chemicals might be making it more difficult for you to switch? When someone stops smoking using 'cold turkey' it can take a few weeks for their body to purge itself of all these different chemicals and those first few weeks are generally the hardest in a quit attempt.

Well i'm doing better than I thought I would so far. Didn't quite manage the cold turkey, but was down about 80% on the stinkies yesterday, so a massive step for me. Just that little extra willpower needed now. So i'm looking to buy a better battery, and quite like the idea of an lcd variable voltage one. So over to you guys and gals for recommendations on which to get for my CE5's and iClear 30.

I echo so much of the that post but the biggest change for me was going from ce4s to the vamo v5 its a game changer hang in there :grouphug:

Where's the best place to get the Vamo V5 from and what price could I expect? All the ones I've found so far seem to come in kits.
