What's new

OH FFS NOT AGAIN!!!!

You just have to look at the mod in the picture and a pic of his leg and joggers, to notice the charring. The mod is completely clean which suggests the batteries were loose in his pocket and not in the mod.
That is exactly what I was thinking.

So, man has loose cells in jogging bottoms, which may have had keys in, rolls around on the ground, and a dead short occurs.

We don't know how long this was going on for-if they was making contact, it could of been a while, and I suspect so due to what happened.

Pretty sure those are regular 18650 batteries that can be used for any number of purposes rather than 'e-cigarette batteries' as they call them.

EDIT:I have just seen that it may of been he had the cells LOOSE IN HIS POCKET-if this is the case, then that is stupid! I think this is quite likely, as the Xcube 2 looks fine.

If it was loose batteries, then it is a twisted story as usual, and he was rolling around on the ground with loose cells in his pocket. A. why was he doing that (I know, he may of just been having fun), and B. If they was loose cells, then I can imagine this is what caused it, does he not KNOW to keep them in a container?

Maybe he is not educated after all-I have seen a worrying trend in facebook groups, were there is NO regard for safety, and people do not even WANT to learn basic safety-if you tell them, they do not care, and they "can't be bothered to learn that Ohms law/battery crap".
"I'm givvin up fags, reccomend me sumfink peeps"

"yea bro, what ye need iz dat smok wiv a velocity, man over makez coilz 4ya jus bang em in n vape awayz init, safe blud"

Yasee, I'd have assumed a production line worker, employed by jag/landrover would have had at least a modicum of battery safety knowledge. Clearly NOT. Not really a surprise they've stopped makin landys ! lol

I doubt it. Only takes two brain cells to work on a car production line. It's pretty much all automated nowadays. Pick a part up and fit it, line moves on, do it again.

I knew someone who was exactly like this-he is now ADMIN of a vaping group on facebook.

He actually said to me " Im admin nw

you can giv me information make me look like a BOSS brainbox you are

will mke me look wel gd"

I told him how about he did what I did, ask questions, learn, and be able to provide your OWN information instead of repeating what I have told you with no understanding whatsoever.

He also got coils made by others, as he "didn't have the effort to do this, why do I need to learn all that crap".

Also-he wanted to get a mech, and a DNA200. I blocked him, then he contacted me through another friend.

He wanted a custom made DNA200-I told him to go for it. He seemed to think the builder would become his personal assistant, setting it up for him for every different build.

Oh yeah-he also asked this gem after a few months of vaping "I have these coils, that say 30-50W on them, I am using them at 80W, any idea why I am getting dry hits? "

I told him back off the wattage-but anything that can't go above 80W is "shit".

lol. If I'm honest, I'm surprised he still has both his hands intact to hold anything, working on a production line with his displayed intelligence level. :D
