My BP Boro mod has a built in battery and being lipo it last me a long time.
They are making 2 versions, b60 with built in 1600mah battery and a b80 with a external 18650 battery.
I tried to find an Indonesian vendor that would send a San AIO here, but failed I do remember, however, that when it was released one of the reviewers (think it was JimvV or Mark Todd) said that there would be problems getting it approved for the European market. He didn’t elaborate further… Perhaps the hurdles are too high to make a healthy profit
I have the hastur and it isn't a bad mod other than the chip playing up sometimes. I'm not 100% sure if they changed anything on the newer versions or sorted there issue with the chip. Mine sometimes comes up and says no atomiser, in that case I simply remove the battery and then stick the battery back in and 9/10 times is sorts the issue. It only ever does it if I remove the Boro while it is on. It is a very well built piece and Ecigone have them on offer ATM so it may be worth a punt. Considering I'm not sure of your budget there really isn't much else that is 21700. But you would be surprised how long a 18650 will last you. I chain vape and I use coils between 0.50 to 0.60 at 20-25 watts and I get easily all day and into the next day with one battery.I didn’t see the point of starting a new thread so I hope I’ve done the right thing posting on this old one.
I never thought I’d see the day when I would be interested in purchasing a Boro mod but here I am looking into doing just that. I am of the same opinion that exposed batteries are just a disaster waiting to happen especially for those that wear rings or puts their mod in their pocket so I definitely don’t want one of those, anyway I think they look ugly. I definitely need a 21700 for my chain vaping and in a traditional billet box style including metal construction, so far all I have found is the Cthulu Hastur Atom kit but I have heard many people complaining about them developing faults. In an ideal world I would love to have a San AIO kit but unfortunately it only takes a 18650 battery unless they bring out a 21700 version someday and keep it in the same format and materials. I don’t mind the looks of the original Stubby 21700 (not X-ray version) but they are very hard to find nowadays. Are there any other Billet Box style 21700 mods out there that I’ve missed and that doesn’t require me remortgaging my house for and also is the Cthulu Hastur Atom 21700 all that bad? Oh I nearly forgot to add it must be regulated.
Thank you for your help but I really don’t like the feel of plastic vaping devices sorry although I can see the appeal in yours.Grey Boxer AIO £150 tyd, including post? PM for details.
Thank you @Moses for your valuable input. The Cthulhu Atom does have some good plus points especially with the board being on the opposite side to the tank so if it leaks it’s not such a big deal (that’s always been a worry for me with any device) and I like that it’s easily customisable having two panels back and front. I have heard that by fitting a Billet Box style flush nut has solved some people’s issues with it and that makes it even more tempting. It really has everything that I want in a Boro device so I am also wondering if getting the DNA version would solve the issues that the basic version has. Then there’s the Stubby 21700 and I am slowly coming around to the X-Ray version although I might be able to get my hands on the original non X-Ray. I like all of the peripherals that you can get for it and the RDTA that it comes with. I vape in a RDL style and I’m all about the flavour and not blowing clouds so you may be right about an 18650 battery lasting all day and if that’s the case then the San would be my first choice. This is going to be a Christmas present from my other half so I’ve got to get it right or she won’t be happy lol I may even wait until the new year to see if anything new comes out and have it for my birthday instead at the end of the month.I have the hastur and it isn't a bad mod other than the chip playing up sometimes. All good options in my opinion, you can't go wrong with either of the 3 you have thought about.Thank you @Moses for your valuable input.
