Just a quicky, I am just getting a bit puzzled with all this ohm's stuff on my iTaste & mini vivi nova! My iTaste has 4 atties all at different ohms and my nova came with 3 at different ohms also! Im just curious which ones are best to use  Currently using a 2.4 ohm atty in the nova but im not sure if i would be better using either the 1.8 ohm or the 2.8 which came with the kit also!

Anything engineering i am fine with, but when it comes to this electro trickery stuff i feel helpless lol! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

:P

I learned, lower ohms at lower voltages = warmer vape/ more vape

higher ohms at higher voltages, cooler vape, more flavour,

But in all reality, its what you find that you think tastes the best :P

The ones that came with the kit are for use with the native tank delivery system that cam,e with it .. they wont work with the nova ..

Some people like the tank delivery system. Personally I think You may as well just go ahead and drink the eLiquid .. coz thats invariably what happens anytime I use a tank delivery system!

the heads that came with your nova .. ok .. Im no good at the electricty bit .. But I understand wha they do :)

the 1.8 ohm head is the lowest .. will take the least volts to to heat up to a vape you like 2.4 will take a bit more volts and the 2.8 wil take even more ..try them .. start with whatever you have in .. and increase the volts slowly till its a warmth and taste you like. - go too far and it will taste burned and horiible :) its all about you finding what volts with what ohms you personally get the best taste at :)

My new flavours just popped through the door! Nows a good time to experiment i guess :D

Just switched to my lowest ohm atty for the itaste. Definately prefer it! Just about to clean my nova tank out and put the 1.8 ohm head in there and fill it with one of my new juices, not sure which one to use though as there all pretty lush lol! Might use the vanilla in there!

YOu tried the itaste tank system then ?

did the juice taste nice ? lol

Forgot to mention..........noticed a bit of a floor with the iTaste tanks provided. Basically when you put them on for the first time the Atomizer pierces a silicone seal on the tank allowing the juices to flow! just noticed on a new one i have just used that it didnt actually pierce it but instead it punched a perfect hole in the silicone which managed to clog up the atty! Glad i noticed this sooner rather than later as i dont fancy having a dead atty so soon lol! Shame they dont stay pefectly sealed when you remove them from the atty as i was hoping to take a few different ones to work with me tonight, will just have to take a couple with a new seal which i can just switch around when changing tanks!

Tastes fine in the tanks, but just a pain in the arse when you take the tanks off lol (no perfect seal anymore). I like the fact i can put the pen cap on when i have it in my pocket at work! Or should i say, in the pen holder of my overalls ;)

Ohms, what about at constant voltage please?

I have a Joyetech Tornado eGo C USB passthru battery (1000mAh) that apparently does 3.3V constant. I'm using it with 1.5 ohm Dual Coil Tank all bought from Totally Wicked.
I'm think of trying Vision Ego V3 rebuildable (I'm assuming they will fit the battery, & advice if they are any good or not, & also the seller)
They come in 1.8 ohm, 2.4 ohm, & 2.8 ohm & I havent got a clue what to get

For the record, I'm not getting enough flavour, but my original premixed liquids were way too strong on the DCTs (36mg) so I diluted them by mixing them with the same amount of VG (so I had 7ml left of a juice & I added 7ml of unflavoured VG) obviously this reduced the flavour as well.
I've also mixed a my own orange flavour @ 11mg nic (following the guide at totally wicked) but I'm not getting enough flavour for my liking, obviously I can add more flavour to that 1.

So some advice from you lot who know what they're doing would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Power (Watts) = Volts X Amps

Amps = Volts/Resistance

The lower the resistance, the smaller the divider for the volts is, the more amps get through. EG 4 volts divided by 1 ohm = 4 amps. 4 volts divided by 2 ohms = 2 amps.

There's an ohms law calculator here: http://www.ohmslawcalculator.com/ohms_law_calculator.php

At 3.3 volts a 1.8 ohm atomizer would deliver 1.83 amps and 6 watts of power. At 2.2 ohms and 3.3 v you'd get 1.5 amps and 4.95 watts.

If your battery(ies) are up to it the lower ohmage devices will deliver more power and therefore more vapour (all other things being equal).
