I'm suspecting it was on the vindicator and you rattled the battery in and scraped it off the bottom threads where the switch goes back on.

Failing that, check the inside of the tube for burrs, spurs and cowboy boots

Just tried replicating it by scratching it down the mod and it didn’t break the casing so not sure that was the reason

It could have been when you pulled the bat off your charger in a rush and she spring has shot the negative post up and scraped your bat so just make sure you take them out properly instead of just yanking them out and it shouldn't happen again [emoji6]
