Hi Guys,

I'm new to vaping. I bought a double EGO-C kit, a few Diamond mist liquids and a menthol tobacco liquid from ebay. Needless to say, i'm not impressed :( The juices lack any punch, the menthol is pretty good but the standard atty/tank mouthpiece setup is not working well and I keep getting a burning taste.

As a result, I'm looking to buy a Vivi Nova kit, some Boge cartos and around 5/6 juices. A menthol and a tobacco with nicotine and a handful of fruity flavors without. The trouble is, I don't know where to start.

The only brick and mortar store near ish me (45mins) is UK E-CIG Store in Wembley i think, I was planning on going there this afternoon, having a chat with someone who knows what they're talking about and buying all the above. Trouble is, they are rather expensive and with a handlful of 10ml bottles, 10 cartos and a vivi, its around £50. I checked out the vendors section and although there are lots of traders, coolvape.co.uk have a vivi for half the price of ukcigstore and a 25% overall discount but no reviews I can see for juices, plus a smaller selection.

Should I go to welbley and buy there or form a vendor I don't know to save a few quid....or probably 50odd percent!

If you have a look at our discount codes page or on our own Marketplace, there are loads of vendors and you can check out the vendor review section here to decide if it's worth the extra to drive to a walk in or get your bits online.

PS my last blog might help you make some choices as well http://blog.planetofthevapes.co.uk/node/42 ;)

Thanks for the response.

A little update; I visited the store earlier today. Unfortunately, I didn't know it was a work in progress, I did try to call ahead a few times but there was no answer. Parking was tricky is they are based right next to Wembley. A trades/shop fitter let me in, to my surpuse it was just an empty white walled room with boxes all over the floor as they haven't actually set up shop as yet. Thankfully, there were two young girls working who said they could serve me.

I went in to get the Vivi Nova STV Kit, 5 boge low resistance cartomizers, aluminium drip tip, needle bottle and some juices - tobacco with 0.8% nicotine and fruit juices without nicotine. The store was an hour each way for me but I really wanted to meet them and have a browse. One of the girls set about the boxes to find what I needed unfortunately it seems that I didn't get what I asked for and I think I was inadvertently overcharged. A little bitter sweet i guess :(

I appreciate they aren't fully open as yet and there is no barcode/till system. Essentially, as I wasn't certain on which juices, she offered me a fruity tester set and a tobacco tester yet. I also got 5 cartos, a vivi nova and a needle bottle. I was told the aluminium drip tips were not in stock, only the more expensive stainless ones which I was told were £5.99 (but 2.99 on the site) - I didn't buy one.

From what i've added up on the website, I was over charged around £5.50, not a massive amount but not ideal. The juices I got are also 18mg Tobacco, 8mg Fruit and the boge cartos are standard resistance not low. :(

As I'm back home now and it would be another 2 hour round trip, it really doesn't make sense to go back to the store.

On the plus side, the vivi is a big improvement on my stock ego-c setup and the one flavor i've tried so far, mango, is nice. I'm just not sure whether to get stuck into the others as the nicotine is much higher than I wanted and I'm not sure vaping away at them is going to help me quit smoking...which is the point of this after all.

IF it helps for now, I found I needed to draw very slowly with the eco-c ( if that's the 1 with the little white tank in the top) to allow time for the juice to soak in. Ended up drop kicking them down the garden somewhere. the kanger t3/mt3 are bottom coils, rebuildable and vape better. that's what i'm on at the moment.
