I bought a Vamo V5 off fleabay about a month ago and all was well until I put my iClear 16 on, then it shorted out with a nasty burning smell. I emailed the seller and they where great and sent a replacement straight away. All was well until I got my new Protank 3 mini today screwed it on my Vamo and BANG shorted the Vamo out. I used the adapter that was provided with the Vamo as instructed by the seller. So I am now looking for a new mod. Any recommendation's ?

My Vamo v3 has lasted 9 months but now the buttons no longer work, a shame really that the quality is not up to scratch coz it has the potential to be a great mod. I was thinking of the v5 but now i'm not so sure. The iTaste SVD is still going strong & without the fading finish like the v3; both bought at the same time.

Vamo's are virtually bombproof, looks like you lucked out there, but remember that you're buying your kit from evilbay where most of the time the seller has your money and dont give a monkeys about after sales service....Not to mention that theres so many fakes on evilbay that you're never really sure of what you're getting for your money.....the above advice is certainly true...buy from a reputable vendor and get exactly what you pay for, and good after sales service as well.......

I am with Blackhack on this one the vamo is really good. Dropped it a number of times and no problem, works what ever I put on it no problem at all. IMO you have just had a bad deal. Have a look at myepack. They do very good deals on the vamo and a good deal on the innokin MVP. Good customer service and delivery.

All I can say is my SVD has been in daily use since early November and has never missed a beat.
Not owned a Vamo but had a go on a couple and just didn`t like it as much, not sure why.
It`s probably as much about personal preference but I`d take the SVD over the Vamo in a heartbeat.
Either way Myepack are a great vendor.

Have you contacted the vendor to say this vamo has packed up?
Do that, ask for a refund, then have a chat with ash at myepack he will sort you with a good kit

yup buy from a good vendor like vaper caper or myepack and you shouldnt have any more problems

+1, mine came from ash and I've never had a problem with it. Top bloke and probably the best prices around for a lot of his stuff.
