You may well be right, but my initial feeling is that it would help if we'd fully vaccinated more than half the population first?
Aren't we over 45% with both vacancies now?
So by the 19th we should be over half with both and close to 90% with the first dose.

Yep, I think it's 49% fully vaccinated now, 67% with the first.

It will be interesting to see how many do get the first, they reckoned in May that around 15% of adults might refuse ........... which is about what's left now. :22:

I did, and I guess I think it's the right thing to do, but it's your body and your choice. :)
Not anti vac just don't do any of them lol.

I know vaccination has been good for some things.

My wife has had it but she thought she had to as she was made redundant last year.
She has had some temp work and is now on a eight month contract but felt that some jobs were going to insist you had it.

Because I've travelled a lot, especially as a child, there's not much I haven't been vaccinated for ............... thought I might as well make up the full set ............ ;)

It would absolutely help, so they need to get the vaccine then don't they. Both my kids have had their first and the second one is booked already, they are only in their 20's so there's no issue with supply, if people don't want to have it then there ain't much we can do is there? People who are vulnerable should have had it ages ago.

I don't know what more we can do. There's no point in waiting around for people that aren't going to have it anyway. They made their choice, it's now time to find out if they made the right one. ;)

I'm not suggesting we wait for that last 15% of adults, but people having the second vac (in the right time scale), and then 3 weeks for it to optimise so it covers them ............. isn't going to happen in less than a fortnight for many?
