Smokers that vape? Ex smokers? What are we?

I'd say that i finally class myself as a vaper and an ex-smoker as the two are very different for me and if i'm completely honest i never really intended to stop smoking all together but the truth is that although it was tough in so many ways once i started i never actually wanted to smoke it was just habit. Like many others I can't say that i will never have a fag again but i hope not, I tried a drag last week.. safe to say i was not impressed in the slightest and have enjoyed vaping more since. Even being around very close friends of mine who all smoke hasn't tempted me and i thought that would be the hardest part of my habit to break . - One of these friends has actually decided to give vaping a go... this makes me very very happy! but i would never say anything against smokers, their choice just as much as it was mine.

I'm a vaper. If anyone presses the point I'm an ex-smoker. If people ask me "so when are you going to stop using that" I usually tell them "if and when I feel like it, it's almost harmless."

I don't think I'm ever going to smoke again, I tried a fag several months after I switched and managed three drags and threw it away - it was horrible. Can't stand tobacco vapes either now.

While I personally don't want to smoke anymore I don't mind other people smoking around me, it stinks, and I wouldn't let anyone smoke in my house, but I frequently sit out in pub gardens with my still smoking friends to socialise. I've 'converted' two of them to vaping. I say converted, I let them try my stuff out and a couple of them decided they preferred it and separately came up and got some starter stuff from me. Both of whom have stopped smoking entirely. I tell people I'm more than happy to help them out if they want to try vaping for a bit and see if it works for them, though if they want to carry on with the smoking then it's their choice.

I too am more than happy to help any of my smoking friends switch over but i would never judge if it doesn't work for them i also still have an ashtray round the place for anyone who wants to smoke, after having that last drag im not tempted by it so they can smoke away
