Steamcrave aromamizer plus v3 issues

Γεια,

I don't know or can comment - the Blotto looks like it has a good deck for dual coils or a big single, the key difference is that the Fatality has variable airflow for what it's worth. I think, after trying more than 100 atomizers over the years there are some that stuck with me for whatever reason, but my overall impression at this point in vaping is that most will be good to very good in the end, so it's a case of what works for you visually, the draw etc.

Regarding the Wotofo Profile X, no idea about it, I just saw that it has top airflow, and I've always stayed away from any sort of top airflow. I may be totally off but I feel the coils need to be hit by air to provide good flavour.

Well, the top airflow is the least of that thing's problems. Most mesh tanks have top airflow (only exceptions I can think of right now are the Unity and the Aromamizers, which are side, plus the Profile RDTA if you can count that in) and it's never really been an issue for mesh. I also hate top airflow with coils, but not mesh, the Profile M, with all its issues, had phenomenal flavor and draw. With the Profile X it's just that, for some reason, there's no flavor. None, at all, it's like I emptied the tank and refilled it with VG, so the only flavor I get is from the leftover droplets of whatever used to be in there. It's atrocious and I hate it.

As for the Blotto... Well, I wouldn't go putting a single coil in the Max. I in fact preferred the original Blotto with a huge 4.5mm single coil over dual coils, but on the Max the deck is just too big. It's perfect for medium to large 3mm ID dual coils. The closest thing I have to the Fatality M25 is the Fat Rabbit and, while it's good (when it doesn't leak like a blown gasket in a high pressure system), it's no Blotto Max. I like how configurable the airflow is, I adore the draw and the flavor is great, but the Blotto is just better. Still, nothing touches the versatility of Steam Crave tanks. With both the Blotto Max and Fat Rabbit, if I want anything other than dual coils, I'm shit out of luck. With the Supreme v3 I can do single coil, dual coils and mesh, depending on the mood, and it does it all fine (mesh is very very tricky though, I had hated it for the longest time). That's why I want a Plus v3. Form factor of the Fat Rabbit, versatility of the Supreme v3, option to install larger coils (which don't really work out all that great on the Supreme) and hopefully great flavor.

I am vaping the aromamizer plus v3 right now, have had it on the go for about two months with just changing cotton, I use it single coil. It also works fine with mesh, however sometimes I get hotspots which as you'll know are like breathing in lightning!
I feel its weakness with mesh is that you need to make sure the cotton is tight everywhere, and without a spring from below, or a way to pull the mesh and tighten the cotton then sometimes as the cotton collapses after use you get hotspots.
I haven't used the plus v3 with dual coils, I feel the chamber is a bit small for how I usually build dual coils. I use a fat quad core fused Clapton and with chain vaping the chamber gets pretty warm. Also with chain vaping I can empty a tank in a 30-45 min drive. No reason why it wouldn't work well with dual coils too - generally the aromamizers have always been very solid, stress-free devices.
Frankly, if the Blotto works for you no reason to change, I'm personally scaling back on my atties.

You're vaping that beast with a single coil? How? What coil is that? I'm honestly amazed. I never could stand single coils very much, unless they were so huge that the amount of metal is similar to dual coils.

As for mesh, yeah, without the spring loaded plates it can be quite finnicky. The only way I've found so far that works for the Supreme v3 is to screw in one side of the mesh, compact the cotton, hold it in place, then bend the mesh over it and screw it in the other side. Anything else and my vape ends up like smelling Zeus' butthole after he ate some beans.

Now, it might sound weird, but I'm kind of looking to scale back my collection too. I have quite a few tanks in a drawer that I don't use. I've given some away, but that's about it. With tanks that I'm not perfectly happy with, I find myself reaching for them every now and then, but not really using them consistently. So I want a collection of a few tanks (so that I have a build and flavor variety, I never vape from one tank exclusively) that work perfectly for me so that I can get rid of the rest. For example, I was hoping that the Profile X would be my go to mesh tank, so that I could get rid of the Zeus X Mesh, the Profile M, Kylin M and my half working Profile RDTA. That didn't work out. My Blaze has replaced a Dead Rabbit v2 that I had, which I only used when I had to wick in a hurry and couldn't afford a leak no matter what, so the Rabbit's gone. So yeah, I am perfectly happy with my Blotto Max and with my Supreme v3 and with my Blaze (and I would be with my Fat Rabbit too, if it wasn't leaky AF), but I use them all for different purposes. The only things I want that are missing are 1) a good mesh tank, for which I might as well grab a second Profile RDTA and be done with it and 2) a big fuck off huge capacity big coil tank that I can toot away on on long drives etc. The Plus v3 seems to fit that role perfectly, that's why I'm considering it. If I could only have one tank, that would be the Supreme v3, but I don't have such restrictions, so here I am.

Sorry, my bad, it is the aromamizer supreme v3, not plus. This is what I am rocking these days:

I would like to have a word with you about the Blotto Max. I haven't tried the Fatality (was on the verge of getting one, before I saw the Blotto Max was out), but I can't see how it would really be better than the Blotto Max. Unless your huge f-all coils need tons of power and thus tons of airflow to be cooled, this thing is absolutely amazing.

Now, after getting burned by getting the Wotofo Profile X and being very (and I mean VERY) disappointed, I'm starting to think if I should get the Plus v3, seeing as my Supreme v3 is probs my favorite tank so far. The only thing that scares me is the size. I can't really picture the size, how much bigger it would be than my Fat Rabbit and Supreme v3. If I'm not mistaken, it's not really taller than the Supreme, just wider. Or am I wrong? Anyway, my only mod that can accomodate a 30mm atty is the Grus, and I'm not using the damn Plus v3 with a single battery mod, no matter how good it is.
Yeah the plus v3 is definitely a big beast. I have the odin so luckily fits on there. I also got stung with the profile dual mesh. Just cannot get that to produce flavour. I'm sure I have done something wrong somewhere. Can't help you with the blotto I'm afraid. Don't own one but heard good things.

The picture is not showing mate. Mind reposting it?

Ok, I realize how I might have been misuderstood, but I've already had the Blotto Max (and the original before that) for quite a while. It's probably my best tank, at least for what it does, which is a restrictive DL with mid-large dual coils. The flavor is top notch.

I was thinking about pairing a Plus v3 with an Odin, but I've read mixed stuff. Care to share a thought on it and how the two pair up?

It's all I seem to use at the moment so love it.ove got a lot of kit just sitting around now not being used. I had a minor scare with the v3 plus getting stuck when trying to clean it but other than that it's been amazing, so bit unsure as to what issues they've come across.

While I don't want to derail this thread more than I have already, I think the discussion about the few mods that can really accomodate the Plus v3 is a rather valid one, as there's not terribly many that do out there.

So, Odin. I had read somewhere from a few people (so it wasn't a lone incident, apparently) that the chips in the Odins would die. That, of course, was about the cheap version with Dovpo's chip, rather than the more expensive one with the DNA chip inside. With that said, nowadays I feel like there's really not much point in getting a DNA, unless the device you like only comes with it. Most good chips have got more than good enough.

Ah I see. Well I do have the dna version so probably why I've not encountered those issues. There doesn't seem to be many that can accommodate it unless you want another mod to pair it with. I was looking at the hadron mod by steamcrave. Pretty sure that can fit.. I've just chucked the v3 on one of my geekvape mods( the one with the big screen on the front) and it does fit on there with the smallest amount of overhang at the very top of the mod where it angles down slightly but you really can't notice it unless you really look.
