Overall build quality is very impressive. It is as solid as a Billet Box and feels quite weighty for it's size. This is a positive for me. The panels are the same build quality as an SXK BB and look very similar. The fit is very good and there is only a tiny amount of movement, which is not noticeable in normal use. I will probably change these a set of different ones when they appear. I don't like the drip tip as it's too wide for me. No deal breaker there.
There is a small screen on the top of the device, which can be flipped. I can quite easily read the wattage and just about make out the coil resistance. Of course this is no DNA device and is wattage only. 5 - 30 watts. This is fine for me. The Bantam seems to read the coil accurately and deliver the power as expected.
Included is a Boro style tank, which is full size and contains an annoying insert to make it TPD. Just rip it out and good to go. You also get Aspire bridge with a 1.8ohm Nautilus coil, a Kanger bridge and a simple RBA bridge.
Rather than do a new build I just swapped in an existing Boro with Vapeshell. Worked perfectly straight away.
It's a very cleverly designed and executed device for it's size. It really depends on whether you like the aesthetic and can live with 30 watts max, no TC and a smaller battery. For how I use it, it really does perform as good as a Billet Box but in mini form.
