That's about right for 14 wraps of, I'm guessing 3mm ID?
Yes, definitely attach the legs to the lower post holes. This helps to get some curvature going on, making this neither horizontal nor vertical but a bit of both!

I make this coil by wrapping one coil and then pulling the wire along a bit before winding the second set of wraps ... rather than just opening the gpa up at the middle wrap.
Also I make my wraps quite close, almost a microcoil, and then open the gaps evenly with a very small precision screwdriver, to get the spacing as even as possible. Niffy is great to work with when making spacing adjustments, just need a bit of patience.
My aim is not to make the coil too long, so thewicks aren't touching the chamber walls and sucking up condensate. You might be less bothered about this with your juice, but my juice discolours badly.
I notice that your coils are still shiny silver ... normally they go black when you pulse and tune them ... did you skip that?
