The importance of labelling

@BKKKPewsey I just sellotape my labels to the bottles, helps in case of any leakages as well. So I take it you're using the lucky dip method of choosing your juices at the moment?

Yes I use sellotape now and yes it was a bit of a lucky dip especially with my custards - can I smell banana - no its rhubarb - hold on that's rhubarb (I think) .............

When I started DIY I went to get labels and all I could get hold of as colour code labels for notes. So notebook. Red is X. Yellow is Y etc.

Now I have proer labels, I write the following format in everything

Main flavours
Nic strength PG/VG
Date made

All my flavours live in my cupboard. So I put date made so I know if its passed basic steeping. Plus I forget what day I made them.

So right now I have my own which has

Sweet Strawberry
0.8mg 60/40
15/02/2014

If I have a mix with multi flavour. I write in my book the percentages of each flavour. Keeps the labels simple and clean

I use normal A4 printing paper that I cut to size and write down the recipe I made plus the date I made it...and then I use cellotape and I find it easy and convenient. Plus it is inexpensive as well.

Mixed up a small amount of juice for the missus who was complaining of lack of hit/effect of her current juices.....36mg nic....
left to steep in the cupboard, next to fresh batch of black magic 60/40 VG/PG at 18mg for me.
Cleaned and rewicked my kayfun lite dual coil setup.
Took down what I thought was my week old mix.....
Filled the tank, set to 10 Watts, took a deep draw....
Oh yeah!! Eyes and nose streaming, throat on fire......will be labelling religiously from now on !

Two very important rules I've also learned the hard way! Always keep detailed notes, and always label your bottles lol.
