What's new

The Trouble with me.

i've bought myself a mouse to use for my iMac, and is a Logitech Mx 57 something and really feels weird only using your thumb.

About 3:30 hours in, I know I am watching the clock, but have nothing else to do.

Dont beat yourself up mate. Every vape is one less cigarette.
I tried many many times to stop smoking over the years, always going back to it.
The only way I found that eventually helped me quit was not to say I will never have another cigarette. If I wanted to have one I would and kept saying to myself 1 is better than 100.
I vaped and smoked for a while and found I began vaping more and more between cigarettes. It got to the point I stopped enjoying smoking.
I still say if I fancy a cigarette I will have one and that really helps. If I tell myself I will never have another smoke then that's when it gets difficult.
I've been smoke free for nearly 10 years now.
Another thing that helped me was I turned vaping into a hobby.

I think the hobby suggestion is a good one, quitting smoking takes up a lot of your conscious thought and the more you can do to normalise and make it just another thing going on in your life the better, fiddling with atties and coils and stuff also gives you something to do with your fingers but keep your vape handy and leave your fags and lighter in another room.

I have resorted to vaping again since 12:30 this morning.

I totally agree that I need to make this a hobby again.

Also, when I was starting my vaping journey, my paranoia got the best of me, and I kept buying stuff that was not needed. I nearly spent £2000 on gear.

I do not have any, but I could bum some of the mother, but that would be cheating.

@P2Pleon I'm your brother in arms matey, I only smoke socially - when out on the piss, but I'm doing 5-10 fags every time now. It's not a physical thing as I dont touch a cig when not out socialising and drinking, it's 100% psychological.

We all spend silly money on things we don't need, i must have over a dozen things that i haven't even opened. I have an addictive personality where once i get into something i can't stop throwing money at it.

It`s like a compulsion, when you are a smoker it`s always like Bensons or Lamberts and hardly ever changes, but with vaping it`s like you`re looking for something better all the time, and the worst of it is that the rig that somebody else is flashing pics of seems to be that better bit of kit. Most of the time the rig in your hand is perfectly adequate, but it doesn`t stop you looking.

I bought the original Reuleaux on a whim as it looked cool, then bought 4 of the RX's both black and both cyon.

The only thing that I have that I did not buy is the 2 prizes i won on the e-cig-forum.
