FWIW, I have ordered 2 from Avalanche, both fine. I had the "colour out of stock" issue on the second and they seemed pretty decent / dilligent in how they managed it.

If the pod is faulty though, they should send you a replacement, and I think they're legally obliged to do so. If it comes in packs of 2, send the whole pack back. If it came with the device, send the device and pod back. If they're being shitty about it, I'd do a chargeback.

I'm surprised you're not getting a decent draw @rew, I'm on the 1.2 pods and it not beserker tight, but I certainly wouldn't call it airy, and it's not getting so hot that I notice.

I ordered the fancy black one from Avalanche on Monday then got a phone call from them on Wednesday saying that they only had gunmetal fine by me and it arrived Thursday, after reading about the V1 pod issues I guessed it would come with the old pod so ordered a pack of the V2 1.2ohm pods from Ecigone for a tenner posted fortunately they arrived the same day.
So far I like it, 4ml capacity and fit your own drip tip are a win, the draw is perfect for me with the adjustment fully closed, the flavour isn’t as good as my Rta’s but it’s better than any other Mtl pod I’ve tried, it’s silent and very smooth,
I’m on the lowest power setting and that’s perfect on the 1.2 pod and so far it’s bone dry.
In my eyes it’s a good buy at this price but get the V2 pods.

well its been over 24 hrs since i got mine & had too refill it this morning, before heading out on my mountain bike & doing some forest trails, the device is still bone dry & not a sign of a leak

so will deffo order another one

I suppose the fact it ships with a 0.6 pod may indicate it's aimed more at rdl than mtl but then again these days many see 0.6 as being in mtl territory. I'm still happy with mine using the 1.2 pod with the airflow almost closed, it's a little on the warm side but not overly so for me. Tis a pity they didn't use all 4 power levels for 1.2 as it would run happily on less than the minimum 11.5watts.

It must be only certain coils. I've left mine sitting for more than 24 hours in the device and it's been as dry as a bone.

Maybe. I've only had that issue when it's left standing for quite a number of days. I've not had it with the 1.2 pod as I use that most or every other day depending on when I'm out and about. I always remove the pod when not using.

I've got the 0.6 in one, and the 0.8 in another. Both with 50/50 juice. I'll leave one for a few days to see if it leaks.
I never remove the pods.

Been using the Puremax 4 or 5 days now and no issues at all. I have the 1.2 Pods which are 2ml and Front Fill. Everything is great and flavour is great, i am not a fan of the Fill Port with it being so close to the coil but if you fill the pod at an angle it's ok. I also remove the Pod when filling as i can't see the level with it in the device. My overall experience with it has been great, I was going to buy a 2nd one but decided against it.

Had mine for almost 1 week & so far I've put roughly 20ml through the coil & the flavour is still good, only the 1 gripe with this device I have to take the pod off while filling or else there is noway of seen the level.
