Thoughts On The Sxmini Puremax

The only way mine are using juice is by using it lol no leaking in either pods 0.6 and 0.8

i have noticed if i remove the pod too fill it sometimes it weeps a very tiny amount out of the 2 holes quick wipe & back on the mod & still bone dry & thats using the 0.8 coils

I use the 1.2 and no issues with Leaking, i do keep the Pod in the Device though. Maybe @DMAN is right about it leaking while taken out. Seems like most aren't having the same issue as you because they don't remove the Pod.

Dunno but the instructions with the device say remove the pod if not using for 3+ days

It sounds like they expect a slight leak from the pod if it's sitting around unused (maybe it would eventually leak, in the device, if left for week or a month or something). But removing it from the device exacerbates the leaking. So I guess the answer is to leave it in unless it will be going for an extended period without use.

It's a bit more than a slight leak but I'm not sure why removing a pod would exacerbate that. Anyway I'll just use up the juice in the 0.6 and forget about it as I prefer the 1.2 which I use most days and have had no leaking issues doing that and removing it from the mod when not using.

That reminds me, when I started to use the proper 1.2 pod, I left the default 0.6 sitting around in my vape cupboard. It's been there for over a week, so I'll check it and report back.

I'm quite surprised, the whole setup seems pretty nicely machined/produced in general. Nothing rattley, If anything the AFC could be smoother, but I quite like the way it won't shift out of place accidentally.

Been running three of these for a month now (well two, because the missus has nicked one), and they've become a daily driver for me. Had loads of SXmini gear over the years (including 3 M Classes on the go at one point, fuck knows how that happened, finger must have slipped on the buy now button) and never been disappointed.

Can't say I've had any issues with leaks, I get condensation as to be expected from a pod. I will say lifespan is a bit varied but it's generally longer than pretty much any other pod out there. Most I've got out of one so far is just under two weeks.

I've only ran V2 pods, I switch between the 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm but do cane them pretty hard with tobaccos and desserts.

In terms of flavour, this really is phenomenal for a pod system

As e-liquid will absorb moisture from the air it will get thinner over time. If you don't use it for an extended period the liquid in the pod will eventually leak out if you remove the pod or not, but removing the pod when you aren't using it lowers the possibility of this very thin juice finding its way into the mod and frying the board. 3 days seems a bit overly cautious, but better safe than sorry.

Dry as a bone.
