I only have small arsenal of kit at the moment, iTaste SVD, Fogger v2 a couple of Protank 2`s. Lastly a Russian 91% and Nem clone with Aga-W on the way. In the next week or so I will have a bit of cash spare so was looking at an RSST. This is where I would like a bit of advice on my first one to purchase, I have had a look at the Smoktech RSST and if right that is a clone of the AC9. I dont think I will be in a position to pay AC9 prices so that leaves the Smoktech or any worthy contender to it, a budget of about £60-70 will be my max, so if you could throw a few ideas my way so I can compare that would be cool.

I think the RSST is around the best Genesis around, especially if you're learning to setup SSMesh coils for the monies. It is indeed an AC9 clone. but the AC9 is £120 the RSST is, well a lot less.

There's a few reasons why. It has an insulated wick hole and the tank has a base to it. a 'Normal' tank on something like this s a glass tube using o-rings to seal it onto the metal base plate of the atomiser. If your wick touches the base metal it'll short out, that's impossible on an RSST.

the other thing is the spring loaded centre post thingy that makes coiling it and attaching the coil to the centre post really straightforward.

In contrast if you use say an AGA-T when you coil it you need to oxidise the wick enough to stop it shorting out when it touches the wickhole and keep the wick suspended in the tank without it touching the base, and when you're learning to coil a Genesis you have enough to worry about getting the coils not to hotspot on the wick and getting the wick to deliver the right amount of e-liquid.

Having said all that, with the arsenal you have assembled already you don't need more atomisers :) You might want more shiny stuff, by all means buy as much as you want but that's an impressive array you have there already.

Thanks for the detailed info VaperCaper Making some ss mesh wicks is something I would like to have a go at, been reading up a bit on that. Oxidising the mesh wick was something I understood, following what I had seen on the fogger when it arrived I removed the one that was crammed in there. It did get me wondering though do people use ss wicks in the fogger at all? Surely after you have flaffed about squeezing it in to the notch either side of the base, you would scratch off any oxidisation that you had built up on the wick. Although I suppose anything is possible with enough time and patience. An RSST it is then I reckon, thanks again.

The Vape Tank has some in around £23 been thinking of trying one myself, after watching the vid on you tube, look good and easy to coil.

That's a small collection!?
I have two mods, 2 drippers, and 2 tanks...
Was a nice guy and gave my spare bits to my elder brother. Then he complained it was all too powerful and went back to his cigalike. Next time i'm at his I'll be picking it up!
