So I ordered a 205 pound mod from esauce.co.uk on the 15th of November. It says it can take 1-7 days to process as they are custom made but it would get to me within 10 days. Customer service was great until I ordered it wasn't so good after that. I managed to get hold of the owner who assured me my mod was sent out 2nd class signed last Friday. Didn't recieve anything and we're now on Thursday. I have had orders placed on Monday second class turn up on Tuesday and Wednesday turn up today. He told me yesterday that apparently they tried to deliver it to my house yesterday but I got home and there was no card or anything. He said it would definitely Italy be here today as I changed delivery address to my work where I can collect it. Royal mail jist turned up with my order from ukecigstore I placed on Tuesday. What do I do now?

So to clarify it was sent out apparently on Friday second class signed. It's only 80 miles away from where I live so not far to send. I have had other orders arrive wh8ch were ordered yesterday which she only 20 miles closer arrive. He said he'll track it and said he can see there has been attempted delivery. Why haven't I been given the tracking number? I've just asked for the tracking number to chase royal mail up but I am getting suspicious as to whether it was even sent Friday. Just frustrating I know custom mods take a while but this is really starting to wind me up. Anyone else had a situation like this?

From the sounds of it, if it's special delivery then will be at you local sorting office. Strange to have no card on a special delivery though.

Either way whatever happens you have a contract with the retailer, which is not fulfilled until it's delivered. so I wouldn't worry too much. But yeah, I've NEVER known 2nd special delivery to take a week.

If I had to guess, they prob bullshitting you and wasn't sent until this week. Could be totally wrong, but doesn't add up. Posties sometimes forget the red card for normal 2nd class stuff, but pretty sure there's much stricter rules with 'signed for'.

Just to say - twice I've tracked something only to see an attempted delivery, no red card or anything. Both times items were at the sorting office. One needed customs charges paying and the other seems to have just been random. I'd visit your local sorting office and show them the tracking number.

only second class signed for?, for a £200 mod, shit, that should've been special delivery as 2nd class is only insured for £50,

hope it shows up or I can see a battle with the seller, if it's genuinely lost, as they'll be out of pocket big time, you'll be covered though

Cheers for all the responses guys. Yeah they omly had a second class signed option on the website. He hasn't actually given me a tracking number he has been 'tracking it himself' today I emailed him asking for a tracking number but I haven't had a reply yet. The worst thing is my partners step father in law works at the local sorting office and of we ever miss a parcel he'll bring it after his shift for us. He has said he can't see a parcel with my name on it. Gutted like I know they take time but I don't like being lied too. It's just strange how he hasn't given me a tracking umber. It really raises suspicion. Even the royal mail guy I spoke to on the phone today said second class signed should have been here Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for your help

Currently going through the same thing, the response time via email from them is shocking.

No way. What did you order bud? It is indeed it's frustrating how good the customer service is whilst trying to sell the product. As soon as the order is placed you get slow and very basic blunt replies. Did you recieve a tracking number? Hope you get it sorted
