Kids are vaping because it's cheaper than smoking, it tastes better than smoking and it's the thing to do at the moment.... before it was eating washing powder tablets, or snorting alcohol shots...

.... when I was a kid it was aerosols.

They aren't worried about their own health from vaping.... we didn't worry about sniffing aerosols until a few people died, nobody is going to die from vaping nicotine... so they won't care.

That's not the issue though is it?

i think it probably varies from kid to kid. some see an attraction in things that are bad for you. when i was a teenager i had a mate who would buy john player special because there was an urban myth that each one you smoke makes your lungs bleed for 30 seconds.

I think there's loads of stuff like that, at the time you just thought it was your area... because there was no internet... but I think it was probably all over the country.

The other thing that always makes me chuckle is that 'different coloured laces in your docs meant different things' it was so ridiculous.

.... and having your right ear pieced meant you were gay... a mate of mine got his right ear pierced and he took it out eventually because he got so much shit at school. He told everyone that he asked for the left ear and the bloke did the right. .... because we all got our ears done at a place called 'OZ' which was a hippy shop/jewelry shop run by a couple of gay blokes, he said they did it on purpose.

It's not got any better.... back when I was a teenage veggie punk I used to quite enjoy a Wimpy spicy bean burger, that new thing at Muck Donalds is revolting. My daughter had a 'monopoly' free thing for one, so I thought I'd try it. It's wasn't cardboardy though... I would describe it as 'sludgy' .. really weird texture, like sloppy meat.

Ive tried most of it - ex was a veggie

im not scared of veggie food, i eat it probably 70% of the week these days

but not with any meat replacements - they are all vile.

and im no fan of processed food - and they really are.
