The well size will be the main factor. An rsa will have a considerably smaller well as it won't be expected to hold as much juice as a conventional rda would. And the top cap may not be designed to be too friendly to dripping.
For example, the B2K is officially called an RSA not an RDA.

just got my recurve yesterday. Coiled and wicked it this morning and I'm just taking the first few puffs now. (used bacon prime for cotton and the supplied coil). It's producing a decent cloud and it's pulling the flavour out of the juice. Have to say it's a win for me... £24 well spent.

There is always an rda of the moment getting glowing reviews. Some stay top of the pops for a few weeks others a few months.
There will be half a dozen or so rda that will keep coming up in questions about best rda. Few will stay on the list for more than a year.
You will get a different list if you ask about rda with restricted airflow or super airy for huge coils or squonk.
I keep an eye on the more restricted airflow rda suitable for higher res coils. I might try a new rda about once a year. Always one of the best ever according to folk posting about it. In terms of how they vape I find that they are almost equally good, they might be easier or harder to build on, they might have larger or smaller wells, be easier or harder to adjust the airflow. These differences are likely to influence what I am using rather than the vape is better. In my experience they all vape pretty much the same.
This years best rda is no better than last years or the year before that imo. If you find a rda is crap and everybody is saying it is great then you are probably only a coil adjustment away from a decent vape.
In the four years I have been on the forum there has been an uninterrupted flow of rda being lauded as better than last months rda. I do not believe this is possible.
Washing powders used to always marketed as "New", "New and Improved", "Best Ever", "Washes Whiter","Whiter than White" then back to "New and Improved" They stopped marketing washing powder like that because in was no longer credible, how much cleaner than clean or whiter than white do you need your clothes to be and nobody could tell the difference between their laundry this year from last year.
As vapers we subject ourselves to the same thing but without the marketing budget of a multinational soap seller. We inflict this nonsense on ourselves.

I must admit my rda besides my tv seat is a three post CCI Archon on a sigelei 100s.... used it every day for 3 years! change the cotton every two weeks and the coil every year. job done.
The recurve replaces the hadley on my coppervape.... I was fed up with over-squonking and leaking through the airholes.

You may be a bit disappointed with the Recurve then because i find i regularly over squonk with it. I had the same problem with my Hadley clone so swapped it with a Wasp and now i am not so bad.

i fell for the hype of the dead rabbit, people where/ still are raving about it but for me just could not get on with it, with the recurve though ive got 3 of em & love em, my other rdas dont get a look in & never had any problem with over squonking it on my gbox & luxotics.
People sticking the boot into the Dead Bunny need to STFU until my sale goes through. Shhhhhhh. Keep all talk of it being an over-hyped piece of crap under your hat. Then, once some idiot has paid for mine, we can go back to laughing about it and all the morons who bought one.
