Unpopular opinion regarding the Recurve rda

The hype train is real! I passed on the recurve, all the reviews raved about it, and then quietly said "but the flavour isn't the best".

Oh, and I still rate the dead bunny. Don't hate me lol!

One of the supplied coils mate. Coil positioned as most people recommend. Without meaning to sound arrogant I'm fairly sure it isn't my coil placement or wicking. I think it's just down to expecting too much based on the hype. For me, the tobhino just outshines it. At least I have 2 lovely drip tips from my purchase!
Yeah the driptips are the best bit. Was thinking of selling my recure but keeping the driptips [emoji10]..... the dead rabbit has been my go to for a couple of weeks now. And i agree with whoever said the wasp isnt great im glad i only paid £8 for mine. Think i need to put some coils in my cosmonaut and goon and see how they compare to the newer rdas.

Funnily enough I've got some 24g ni80 flatwire on the way! Along with some cotton bacon prime. Not sure how it can differ much from cotton bacon v2 but I guess I'll find out. Cheers for the recommendation bud.
I think the difference is about £1.25 [emoji8]

The same coil for a year. That must be a record!!! I get ancy if my coil goes more than a fortnight. Good on you
I must admit my rda besides my tv seat is a three post CCI Archon on a sigelei 100s.... used it every day for 3 years! change the cotton every two weeks and the coil every year. job done.

The recurve replaces the hadley on my coppervape.... I was fed up with over-squonking and leaking through the airholes.

just heat the coil and run it under a tap, repeat until the coils clean and re-wick... twisted kanthal... see no reason to change it.

There's a definite separation currently between dripping and squonking. What's perfect for one is dreadful for another. As most know, I adore the strike for mtl squonking but a can't imagine using it for five minutes as a dripper.
The wasp is still the cheap go to for squonking but as a dripping rda I imagine it's a pain.
I've not tried the recurve as it's not my thing but rda' s do seem to be being designed currently much more from a squonk point of view. Shallow decks and good draw back. Useless for dripping.
I think the phase is already on the down turn.
Next year will be buckets with top caps.
