OK, so after watching the inestimable Todd's latest blog I took a look at the UKV thread for the VTBox200, and I'll try to allay everybody's fears - or create some if you haven't read that thread.

The wire Gauge required for the 510 connection is minimum 16 awg, I don't have a box handy but that would give the conductors a total diameter of 1.29mm. Recommended size is 14 awg or 1.63mm dia. Contrary to the assertions on UKV, if Vape cige have used 18awg wire for the 510 connection this will NOT fry the chip, it may cause the wire to get quite warm but on such short pieces run at such low duty cycles any risk is fairly low and said risk would not factor in unless running at 150 + watts.

Apparently, the battery connectors are the right way around now, as well as the 510 being press fitted.

They have also added a ribbon to help getting the battery out.

Shame he didn't take a closer look, instead of constantly repeating himself

Been told, that as soon as last batch, of the second version, of the third revision is ready, 8 replacement units will be shipped to me.
I truly hope that they will be here at some point next week
