Guys,

Apologies for the onslaught of vapeshell/BB questions now that i have recieved my BB.

First questions i have is how do you guys wick your vapeshell? How tight/loose? Do you thin the ends?

Ive put one build in, coilology fused claptons. I think its dual 28 over 38. Coming out to 0.3ohms. Dont think its wicking as quick as id like, i get a slight harsh taste after about 4 vapes

Yep, as above in video. I only vape at low watts, high ohm, so I don't know about low ohm performance.

Thanks chapd, il follow that video when i rewick later. Im thinking i may have put a touch too much cotton in when i wicked it. Will try again with a little less cotton qnd see how it goes

I wrap my own coils from Stealth Vapes clapton wire. 5 wraps at 3mm id, 0.68 ohms, 30 watts, is a good vape for me.
I think maybe fused claptons are not for the BB. You'll get good flavour with much less.

Wow!! Your poor vapeshell!!! Take that coil out and go for something sensible instead :)

Thanks @rew @Martvb60 I followed your advise and the video. Wicked it a lot looser then I had previously and it definitely tastes better. No harshness to the throat and the flavour is more pronounced. Im enjoying this build, will use it for a while and report back.

@MavicP thank you sir, il look at stealthvape and order some clapton coils from there.

@Rob Ooopps! Sorry boss, its all I had, apart from standard kanthal and SS wire. I opted for this out of all the fused claptons I had as its the smallest in size and fits the vs posts quite good. Its Its a coilology fused clapton 2x26/36 ohm'ing out at 0.29ohms and im putting 40w through it.

Now next batch of questions,
1 - How on earth do you loosen up the battery pins? Im going to grow biceps just pulling out the battery with the enclosed sleve/fabric piece.
2 - When using the black fabric piece, it slightly lifts one side of panel which flops about in your hand ever so slightly. Alternative I could just not use the fabric but then how would I remove the battery?

Don't have a fabric piece in mine. I just pull out battery from negative end a bit first and then the positive end. It's a tight fit though
