Vendors...how 'clean' is your prep area?

This thread should be the real "trusted e liquid vendors thread" just sayin.

@South Coast Vaper @MrTeaTime

Tom I swear blind my keyboard is attached to your frigging PC

I was literally typing the exact same thing! :P :D

I'm sure i posted this a while back but may have been on the vendors bit, or may have been a PM, anyhoos...

I am lucky enough to have access to my old dears facility which to all intents and purposes is a small industrial kitchen
Having worked as a chef for many moons i apply the same ethos, workstation, storage and myself clean before and after
Extraction and a sealed room would be ace, but i am happy enough to say that's not what we have at PFVapes, we do however have an autoclave for cleaning of glasswear :D

It is all stainless steel and is suitable for food / ointments manufacture... Oh yes... the irony

My dearest mother is among other things a Dr of Biomedical science and fancies herself a cast member of "the good life"

She had a fab little organic balms / creams / lotions / essential oils business until the EU priced her out to the tune of £30k...sound familiar? and puff there goes the cottage industry.

So now its used to make juice... for the time being

*Edit*

ill get you monkeys a pic of the mixing and bottling facility when Im up there next ( only go once a week ) - in the mean time you can see the storage i use which is a dedicated fridge set to 2 degrees as for some reason i already have a pic of this floating about :P - why a fridge? well... i like to "stall the steep" as it keeps the juice consistent

Skip to 7 minutes and you won't have to listen to Mr Parker going on .... but this is Digbys set up.

Everyone knows I mix mine in a bath tub with my bare feet, that's why it tastes so good :)

Of course not, I have OCD for Christ sake! As above were not quite a £50k cleanroom, but for a small batch hand made producer we take things seriously in the Dripworx HQ, you won't find a speck of dust in our room, it's a dedicated room for Dripworx only, tiled floors, stainless work stations, stainless racking. Everything gets cleaned in 70% IPA alcohol, the floors get steam cleaned daily. The walls are painted in a washable paint and we have a small HEPA air filter running 24/7 in the room.

Believe me I take things seriously, hygiene is our number one priority.

Below is a photo of our mixing / bottling area. :)

Lee, i wanna see you on that obsessive compulsive cleaners programme

If you wanna see a top end producer at the top of his game, then take a look at this...

This is what good looks like

I love this video, I just wish the interviewer was a little more ..... um, 'dynamic' or something. No offence if they are a member here of course. :)
