Vendors...how 'clean' is your prep area?

Hi guys just checking to see if we had a picture to show you, the only picture I could find was this one from a wile back. I'm in the unit tomorrow and will get some new pictures of our clean room and storage area.

Its an absolute truth is that.

Its also only as good as your routine.

There is not one of the vendors who have spoken in this thread I would have the slightest problem buying from - cleanroom or no, for me personally, despite our own gear (which is far from top of the line compared to some) a Highly maintained food prep style area is enough - I know the effort Tom and Lee go through with there cleanliness and maintenance - and Im sure all the others are the same.

Whilst I was on holiday, I was taking a vape and caught sight of an insect floating in the tank of amber coloured juice. It looked like Hammond's amber cane from Jurassic Park !
So that was 5 mil of juice that went down the sink
I still have no idea how it got in there

In all honesty .. I suspect this can happen in the highest levels of clean rooms .. although it should be a lot harder

I imagine it takes very little for an industrious and unnoticed fruit fly to kamikaze its way into an open bottle of juice, cleanroom or not.

To be honest, it more than likely got in there whilst I was topping up the tank. I had been vaping a few hours after that when I noticed the critter in there whist checking the juice level. But it does go to show, a moment of inattention can end up leading to a 'foreign' object in the juice.
