I'm thinking of getting a squape but there's a couple of things that are niggling at me and pushing me to get a second GT.

I like the fact it's possible to get the Tobecco version with a glass tank but as no one seems to be certain what the non conductive coating is on the clones and I believe people have had problems with it flaking or scratching off put together with the slightly tight draw.
At least I know the GT is gonna work a treat. Hmmmm decisions decisions lol

I thought they were all being made with the stainless decks now? Or are you not talking about the fasttech ones.

The Tobecco version of the squape not the GT.
The squape has a non conductive coating on the deck and chimney but on the Tobecco version the coating is a different colour and had a tendency to flake apparently and the original doesn't so it may be a similar but not the same material.

what puts me off the taifun is the size. i like my aqua because its not overly huge and the russian to a certain extent, but the taifun is just a huge beast of a thing. not sure how big the squape is in comparision.
annoys me thta the ooptions for a bottom coil tank are limited
