Why am I getting a sore throat?

Have you tried turning the wattage down? I just got my first wattage mod and found it really hurt my throat if I had it up to high.

Also am getting a slightly sore or uncomfortable throat feeling, also get a bit of a burning inside nose lining, from exhaling through nose maybe. Am using about 70/40 PG/VG mix. Some days as well get a slight breathing restriction in lungs as well, but might be the change over, as only had 13 days vaping, after 37 years smoking!

when you vape, are you doing direct lung inhales(like with a fag), or are you holding it in your mouth and then inhaling it?(like drinking through a straw)

Slightly off topic, but when I smoked I never inhaled directly to my lungs, was I doing it wrong all those years?! :umm:

ADAM i got used to it after a few weeks same as you sore throat and inside my nose was really sore and dry too its just your body healing from the fags and your cillia reactivating after being choked off by tar and all that crap we used to ingest try a coupla vg liquids buddy from bestcigliquid or MittenKitten which is coolbreeze both of these vendors do 100% vg juices and remeber to keep yourself hydrated as pg/vg tend to dry you out a bit - hope you get past it - keep vaping buddy

Like people smoke cigars? No, I used to pull the smoke into my mouth then down into my lungs, but never directly into my lungs from the cigarette in one big pull, if that makes sense. That would've killed me!

yeah thats the way i did it i've never actually known anybody to pull it straight into the lungs that would hurt like a kick in the chest i reckon

Yeah far too much for me! God imagine the cough in the morning :eeek:

1. You could be allergic to the base (PG/VG)
2. You could have the voltage turned up too high.
3. The liquid you are using could be disagreeing with you. Try another.
4. If you're not feeling better in a day or two stop vaping and see your doctor.

I do think bestcigliquid.co.uk are up with the best. They are real quality liquids and, he knows how to give the best. Wish I knew his secret, lol
