OH bloody hell .. there are different gauges of mesh!

316 or 400 ?

300, 325, 400, 500 etc is the mesh density as in the number of threads or something. The 304 or 316 refers to the grade of stainless steel. 304 is food grade whereas 316 is surgical or marine grade

Hi mate .. I made an order .. i thought sod messing around with all the trial stuff and ordered some .15 nichrome (thats what the wire Ive used in my igo is apparently .. and thats nice)
