Yet another newbie

Hi All.

I'm Al, today is my first day vaping, having been out and bought an eGo CE4 kit and a few liquids. Although, it's taking a little getting used to, it's nowhere near as bad as I thought it might be.

Having smoked for around 40 yrs (yes I started around age 12) and having tried many times over the years to stop, the longest period I ever managed was 6 months, i've come to the conclusion, I do not really want to stop smoking, just cut the amount that I spend per month.

Hence having spoken to several friends, and how much they're saving per month, I've deceided to join them, and now i've found several more here hopefully.

Hello and welcome BigAl and well done on your first day vaping!

Firstly, stick with it, it can be difficult at first adjusting. Some take to vaping like a duck to water and never have another fag. Some however, take a more gradual route and slowly cut down the number of fags smoked each day. Do whatever suits you.

If you have any questions at all, just ask, we're all happy to help. There's lots of useful info on here, the wiki will give you basic info and explain a lot of the terms used.

Most of all, if you need help, just ask, we were all newbies once and understand it's complicated!!
