If anything the mod should be praised for its build quality in not allowing the two loose batteries venting penetrate the mod thus having 4 batteries go up and not 2.

I don't know what the build quality is like on the smok but they appear to be pretty robust.

I would have to say it's pretty robust given that it survived an explosion completely intact and didn't allow him to have even worse burns.. Gotta be plus 1 for the mod...
