I wondered this but didn't ask in case it was common knowledge and I was more of a fuddy duddy than I originally thought.

I'm afraid that will always be a baseball cap as far as I'm concerned.

I have a flat cap, I refer to it as a cheese-cutter...

No, they shorted because they look like they were loose in his pocket,probably with keys or coins. Get some battery condoms or plastic cases, don't carry them loose.
