Careful with egos. The original are made by joyetech though sold under different names such as tornado. There are also cheaper knockoffs of which I'd be less sure personally.

I own 2 knock off 900mah ego batteries and they are by far the best ones I have. My genuine Joyetech 650 mah blew up on the charger and was younger than my knock offs :)

My 2 ego-T 650mah have been going good for 2 moths now without any problem
from the site i linked above.

I have a couple of ego 'style' batteries from one of the first kits I bought. They're fine, there's nothing wrong with them and the UK seller didn't advertise them as anything other than what they are. The price reflected this. You can't compare the price of true Joytech merchandise with cheaper lookalikes.

Fair enough. I've only bought joyetech ones from trusted UK vendors and had no problems. In fact I've still got working egos I bought off Toby iVapour in August 2010. I have heard comments about issues with none joyetech. It's a complex market nowadays though with lots of similar sized and apparently identical batteries all over the place.

I think it's a case of knowing what you're getting at a price you're happy to pay. The only issue I've had with my ego 'style' batteries is needing to readjust the connector on one of them. I thought it was dead until I read on a forum that you can pull it back up a bit with pliers. It's something I've never had happen with my genuine kit so maybe it is in the quality of manufacture.

Fave e-liquid? Vapist's Vaopurs and Cyber Pixie... But I mix my own juice now so I dont know who has the good stuff anymore!!

VapeEscape is excellent and so is Alba Vapours!
