What's new

and the same dog in the BBC - this time ate a 'capsule' for an ecigarette

What do we think are the chances that stuff was bought from a responsible knowledgeable vender who made an effort to point out the various safety aspects of use or places to seek further information?

For that matter, having seen some of the idiots respobses, including one to our own steffijade, what are the chances of him doing anything sensible......

I'm very sorry the puppy died, that's so sad but for the bbc to blame the product is a pretty cheap attempt at making a news story.

When I've been painting I have used fairly toxic art materials but I acknowledge their dangers and exercise sensible precautions treating them with due respect. If anything ever happened (touch wood never does) then it would be my responsibility, I wouldn't blame the manufacturers or call the media, I would have accept responsibility. The same applies to many things we have around the home, chemicals and dangerous objects. Nicotine is labelled as toxic, precautions should be taken. You can't negate this responsibility, this is a sad story but the lesson here is to treat such substances with sensible precautions not blame the product.

Many children, sadly are admitted to hospital each year having drank or eaten toxic substances that can found around the home, does this mean we should put extreme limitations on their availability? The way is usually to educate people and I can't see why this can't be applied to nicotine liquid etc. Double standards going on here methinks and a slow news day for BBC Cornwall

Cornwall seems to have the same kind of media as we have here. There are often pages and pages of who got prosecuted in court for such disgusting crimes as watching a TV without a licence,or being drunk & causing a disturbance near the many Old Folks Homes. The TV media seems to have forgotten that there is any land on this side of the country,LookAround focuses on the NE even though their coverage actually extends across a large area from Yorkshire up into Scotland. This story would get a mention on our TV media too, along with the slant towards e-cigarettes being to blame despite the facts screaming for the headline to be...

Total Dickwad leaves his poisons where anything over the height of a gerbil can consume it

I'd love to get in his house & see if the kitchen cupboards are all fitted with doors & locks if he is so fucking concerned about the availability of poisonous substances.

ahhh! So now it fell out of his pocket.
He must be very tall if it fell out of his pocket onto the dining room table (as it states in the other news article), either that or he was being fucked up the arse by some nonce whilst on the table and it then fell out..... see his story is as bent as he is.

This story has really gone to the dogs.
