2kg lipo..didn't realise they went thay big...jeez I can understand why when you see videos of rc planes crashing people don't leg it over to them

Yes, some big models can have 12s 6000mah lipos which are around 2kg. We use 2 x 6s (that is 6 cells) either taped together or as saddle packs, depends on model type. Really large electric models may have 4 or more 6s packs especially if they are multi motored.

Any lipo pack that was in a crash, even if it didn't flare and still looks good, gets binned. You can no longer trust that pack either on your charger or in your model, let alone stored in your house/shed/garage etc.
