The Bambino Concept was initially inspired by the small stature of the Derringer RDA by Praxisvapors, but I wanted something that pushed the limits a bit more.*I looked at an old*tobh*Atty that I had on my shelf and stared at it for some time. Eventually the thought came to me about where the air holes would go.*I have been able to maintain steady airflow and a massively disproportionate juice well simply by the manipulation of turbulence in my favor.
The air holes are low on the deck and sit just behind an inner terrace. This is* it for the purpose of blocking the air holes, rather a redirection of flow.*You will notice it is ideal for a 0.5ohm flavor build but can also take the heat (if you can too) of a 0.14ohm build or lower, thanks to the PEEK insulators. This Atty is also serviceable and can be completely disassembled for cleaning.*I pride myself on pushing limits and going to silly lengths for a purpose, which is why the juice well is as deep as physically possible. So deep, in fact, that on occasion, the engraving can be seen from the inside of the atomizer.
The center post also is a point of interest as I have made the spacing between the screw and post hole to be ideal for 24 gauge wrapped around a 1/8th drill. This makes building in a confined space feel like an open deck with lots of leg room.*The top cap is special to me on this one. There was a lot of thought into making it as minimal as possible with no waste. The curve around the inner lip is there to redirect air onto your coils from the air hole terrace. It is also there to prevent spit back, a common issue in the “small Atty” game.
