I heard a smidge of this on the radio driving home...wasn't one of their reasons "second hand smoke" and didn't they want to ban alcohol and fruit flavours? Preposterous!!

yes they said that fruit and alcohol like flavours were not a good thing. Like the real thing is in large quantities? I really think that the whole thing is about protecting the kids from taking up vaping. It is as if because the boat was missed for so long about the dangers of smoking and how advertising made smoking so sexy and or cool so many kids took it up that folks fear the same thing will happen because of vaping. I personally think that some sort of control around advertising would be fine but keep your hands off of my lime juice!

it's frightening that they can just effectively make it up....
i've always said vaping had got too big to stop...but anyone (including mp's)that doesnt have a direct interest in vaping just swallows this bullshit up as fact.

Ah, the WHO. I knew I'd misheard. You'd think they'd all have better things to do while the Middle East burns and people are dying of Ebola. I wouldn't dream of blowing great clouds of vape inside anyway. If I really have to vape inside I do it very stealthily. I think you're right though, it's all about encouraging kids not to do it, but I'd rather they vaped than smoked

This is why I don't even bother with the news these days. Its rapidly turned into the BS at 6'o'clock. Nothing but fearmongering and misinformation, sadly so many take them at their word.
